Kessler Fusion Site Launched
Today Kessler Crane launched their site for the new Fusion System, which they claim is "the most advanced motion control system on the planet." I got a chance to see prototype of the system at Eric Kessler’s Timefest last summer, and we were all quite impressed by the new features they were incorporating. According to the new site, there is demo software that will be available for download soon, an expected demonstration of the equipment at this year’s NAB, and a full release this June/July. Can’t wait to see the new system in action. This could seriously shake things up in the time lapse world… check out the above video to see Eric Kessler give a quick demo of the new software, and check out their site for more!
Awesome! I’ve been waiting for this for about 6 months now! i was close to buying the oracle system, but when I heard about this, i figured it was silly to waste my money when something like this would be coming out before too long.
Sounds like his cell phone buzzes in the last few seconds of the video.
i own nearly the complete kessler system and would be happy to pay for an extra interface and a software to get more advanced features, but i would be less happy to spend the same amount of money i already spent for a whole new system again. looking forward to the details to come!
It looks like they have addressed all the things I was hoping for, digital motors and interface for multi device and axis control. I hope we can have hard wired connectivity to iDevices so I don’t need to build a wifi network in the middle of nowhere.
But now we’ll be able to do much more elaborate shoot-move-shoot timelapse setups, I can’t wait…
I just wish I didn’t buy 2 Oracle systems last December!
