2012 Reel Montage
As this year continues to fly by – in my case literally, as I’ve flown nearly 140,000 (yikes!) miles since January – I thought I would post my updated director’s reel before 2013 came along.
A big thanks goes to all of the people who helped me produce the work that you see here, both in front and of course behind the camera.
By far the best part of filmmaking for me is getting to know and collaborate with wonderfully talented people both on and off the set of any production.
In this particular case, I’d especially like to thank the extremely talented duo of Ben Nussbaum for editing this piece for me (who previously edited Nocturne) and to Andrew Francis for his grade (Andrew also graded Mobius.)
And for those who would like to see more of my motion and still photography work you can always go to my website.
If you’re curious as to how I racked up those miles… Well this year took me to Japan, Singapore, Thaliand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Canada, The United Kingdon, France, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand.
Great reel Vincent!
Love this! And the song is amazing. You do good work sir
Stop at any point in this video and each frame is a beautiful image. This is what makes this video so cool to me.
Love the video. Love explosions in the sky. Very Cool V. Very Cool.
Its very impressive to see it all in one. I been following all of them, and still sometimes look back. Its really obvious the difference between C300 (Mobius) and other cameras, such a filmic organic noise, side by side it really steps out. Its wonderful. You made me think about it now.
Is this filmic quality due to the camera or is it simply kind of grading used?

Mostly camera, exposure, lighting – the grade didn’t hurt either!
@Vincent Laforet, It simply looks as if it really compares to film cameras, no other digital does compare to such a close match (except Alexa from what I seen), unless this is simply to do with your magic touch, and in this case, it does not matter which camera I buy next..
Quality! Love your work… a Great Reel!
