Albums and Widgets on Vimeo
translation services
I was just playing around with Vimeo’s widgets and albums today – and I wanted to share them with you all in case you weren’t aware that they existed. This is a pretty neat ways to share your video work on your blog or your site pretty quickly and elegantly. There’s also a cool OS X Dashboard app. Check the features out here.
or another style you can use for your videos or in the case below some of the channels I subscribe to on Vimeo:
Vincent! beautiful rainbow video, just watched it.
quick question if you’re willing!!
i use a 5d mkii on a steadicam merlin, and sometimes it’s hard to monitor. i was thinking i could use video glasses by wirelessly transmitting video from the 5d to the video glasses i’d wear on my head.
ever tried using video glasses to monitor?
1.i can’t stand in front of a monitor (if i’m steadicam op)
2.i can’t mount the monitor on the 5d (balance issues with the steadicam)
how can i find a solution to monitor with the 5d?!
any advice you’re willing to give would be wonderful.
thanks for inspiring us.!
These are great widgets. I only wish you could select which videos you want to show. Right now it only shows the latest! But thanks for passing along!!!

It let’s you choose to show albums of channels you created. So you can “select” which videos you want to show, by making a custom channel for that widget.
I’ve never gotten into Vimeo – looks like that will change soon. Really loved your 4.2010.showreel! It’s inspiring work Vincent, and really, REALLY made me want try a switch from stills to video to supplement my current work. Keep up the lovely work!

Did Vimeo lose/stop supporting the OSX Desktop Widget? I downloaded it on 8/3 and could never get it to play. I went looking for some answers today, and couldn’t find anything on the site. Hope you and the Mrs. are doing well.
