Everything is a Remix Part 3
Everything is a Remix Part 3 from Kirby Ferguson on Vimeo.
A few months ago I wrote a post about Kirby Ferguson’s Everything is a Remix, Parts 1 and 2. This great video series provided and insightful analysis on Hollywood’s tendency to make adaptations, remakes, and sequels. Kirby points out that this is something Hollywood has always done, not just in recent years. He goes on to make the point that all stories are simply reiterations and combinations of the stories that came before – even those that are not remakes or adaptations, stick to the conventions of their genre. Overall it was an incredibly interesting piece, and you can read my comments on it HERE. Now Kirby is back with Part 3 of his series. This episode seeks to define creativity, and postulates where exactly it comes from, but this time Kirby moves away from the example of Hollywood and applies the concept to some familiar tech products…

Dear Vincent, I know my question does not pertain to this post but i am deeply wondering what wordpress theme you are using on this new blog, new as opposed to your old .wordpress.com one. I know at the bottom of the page is says, ‘WordPress Theme by Arcsin,’ but what specific theme is it from http://templates.arcsin.se/category/wordpress-themes/ ? Thank you and please respond.
